Starlings down by the shore on a summers evening in rich glowing colours that would brighten any living space with a joyous and positive energy.
Like all my paintings, this piece has been created with leaves collected from woodlands around Hampshire on warm evening walks. They are then painted and pressed straight onto the original painting for an imperfectly true portrayal of nature. This particular painting features the large wild daisies that were in bloom at the time it was created.
Finished with gold leaf embellishment highlighting the dreamy edges of the shore as well as the speckled feathers that starlings are so known for. Although they are usually seen in their thousands as one murmuration, I wanted to do a piece that showed their individual beauty.
There is also a care information card included of how to look after your artwork. Everything is packaged by myself to ensure the best care and attention is given.

Please note that limited edition prints require up to 4 working days as they are made to order. This allows time for printing, hand embellishing gold leaf as well as careful handling and packaging in preparation before shipment. This production time allows me to prepare and quality check the entire process and give a bespoke service.
