‘In the middle of a painting, I put my paint brushes down and go out in the forest to collect plants, branches, moss, and anything that might be interesting! I bring it all back to paint in a way that frames my subject and sometimes merges into it somehow- blurring the semi realistic elements. I love how I never know exactly how the prints will come out, which is both spontaneous and free flowing…just like nature itself!’
